San Antonio de los Baños is a town in western Cuba, located 26 kilometers away from the capital Havana. It belongs to Artemisa Province and was founded in 1802, earning the reputation as the “City of Humor.”
Although not very large, San Antonio de los Baños has 39 schools and over 600 teachers, making it an important educational town. The town’s library was established in 1975, with a collection of 32,000 books. In 1979, the Humor Museum was founded, and in 1986, the International Film and Television School was established in the city.
